During the webinar, Simon Tew—co-founder of Digit Music and creator of CMPSR—unveiled the company’s groundbreaking inclusive music-education ecosystem. He introduced the CMPSR hardware instrument, the colour- and direction-based Arrow Notes notation system, and the Swipe app, explaining how the three tools work together to accelerate young people’s journey from first interaction to confident performance.

Tew demonstrated CMPSR’s uniquely accessible design, inspired by a wheelchair joystick to ensure deep physical access for all learners. He showed how Arrow Notes provides a tiered pathway through music reading, from gamified Level 1 to full traditional notation at Level 4—making musicianship attainable for beginners, neurodiverse learners and those requiring adapted input methods.

The session also explored Digit Music’s “Five A’s” framework and their curriculum-ready resources, enabling non-specialist teachers to confidently deliver a complete, inclusive music programme. Tew closed by announcing their growing international partnerships, including a notable collaboration with The Brainary in Australia.
